About Raymond F. Silbar, M.D.
After growing up in Danville, Pennsylvania, Dr. Silbar attended the University of Kentucky and received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Dr. Silbar continued on to the College of Medicine at University of Kentucky where he received his M.D. He completed both his internship and residency at Medical Center East in Birmingham, AL. After completing his residency, Dr. Silbar entered private practice and participated as a physician partner with both St. Vincent's Family Medical Care Center and Family Care Associates of Mandarin. Dr. Silbar remains with Family Care Associates of Mandarin and now serves as its owner and operates as a sole practitioner.
Dr. Silbar is board-certified in Family Practice and has been dedicated to practicing medicine in the Jacksonville community for approximately 15 years. He has served as Medical Director for IPA and has been a Diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice since 1988. Dr. Silbar is presently a member the Florida Medical Association, Duval County Medical Society and the American Academy of Family Practice.
